Military Credit Card FAQ

 

  • We offer three credit cards for military members so you can get the right card to suit your lifestyle.

    • Choose our Classic Card if you want a competitive fixed rate with roadside assistance.

    • Choose our Gold card if you want a higher credit limit and emergency card replacement.

    • Choose our Platinum card if you want a $30K limit, roadside assistance, and emergency card replacement, plus opt for a ScoreCard Rewards and collect points to redeem for merchandise and more.

  • SeaWest sees you as a member, not just a customer or account holder. So we take the time to get to know your financial situation and help you improve your credit score so you can get the best interest rate possible.

    Credit card rates are generally based on your credit score and debt-to-income ratio. Different cards may offer different rates depending on if you choose a rewards credit card program or transfer your balance from another credit card issuer.

  • Our Online and Mobile banking tools let you set up scheduled, automatically-drafted credit card payments from your checking or savings account. You can choose if you want to pay the minimum amount due, the full balance, or a fixed amount each month.

    This tool will help you avoid missing or being late on a payment, negatively impacting your credit score!

    To set up mobile banking, search for “SeaWest” in the App Store or Google Play. Once you’ve downloaded the app, you’ll be able to contact us via secure messaging, review your payment history, and manage payments.

    You’ll also enjoy access to free E-Statements and account alerts with Online and Mobile banking.

  • SeaWest membership isn’t just for US Coast Guard members, but for members of all military branches who are:

    • Active Duty

    • Retired

    • Auxiliary

    • Honorably discharged veterans

    Membership is also open to US Coast Guard civilian employees and Navy League members. Employees of the Department of Homeland Security living in Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and California are also eligible for membership.

    Immediate family members and domestic partners of all eligible groups are also able to become SeaWest members.

  • Check out our various branch locations. SeaWest members are also eligible to bank at our shared branches, and enjoy access to over 30,000 shared ATMs worldwide!
